Whitney Houston vs The Who

I made this aaaages ago, but only just got round to doing a video which I’m rather pleased with. Someone did a remix of this which big-beated it up, but I prefer mine (I would though I suppose) – it’s a bit more concise and poppy.

Diana Ross vs Holy Fuck

I decided to do a one-nighter bootleg. These things are generally the product of serendipity rather than design and an acapella I had hanging around (”I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross) just happened to work rather nicely with a track I’ve been enjoying recently (”Frenchy’s” by Holy Fuck). A little bit of shuffling around with the acapella and bingo!

The video is an experiment in editing by me. Expect more soon.

EDIT: You can download the mp3 HERE.

Monkey Skier

Poor chimp. Blowing on his hands to warm them up. No wonder he’s cold though – no hat, gloves and crucially, no trousers.

Don’t panic though – there’ll be more antics from Win and Ade soon!

From the archive

I dug out some old audio shit and post it here now for posterity.

The first is a celebration of I guess what was Web 1.0. From back in the day when Geocities ruled and everyone put a little audio welcome message on their sites. It’s called “Homage to the Homepage” and ended up the infamous Boom Selection collection, though it was titled “thorpe”.

The next track is available on the Pasteism EP released by Monotonik a few years ago. It made it’s way to the Radio 4 presenters office somehow and apparently the announcers loved it.

The General Synopsis

Finally, a track that’s unlikely to ever get any exposure anywhere else now, due to the inconsiderate demise of the main subject. “Pretty Thick” was how Jade’s housemate, Spencer described her way back on her original BB appearance, and the tune sets her (at the time) infamous conversation detailing her astonishing ignorance of basic geography to a funky beat. It was very popular and even got played on the Radio 1 breakfast show.
